Hey Everyone! I got to chat with Cecily today over Facebook for a few minutes and she asked that we would be praying for her these next couple of days as she has to struggle saying goodbye to her close friends at YWAM in Australia in order to come home. She has worked with them for quite some time now and has made some life long friends. Because Cecily is such a relational gem, this is going to be really hard on her. Please pray for her strength as well as those she’s leaving.
Thanks everyone!
Let’s keep those encouraging videos and comments coming as Cecily comes home to begin this difficult journey.
I’m not sure how many of you have already heard yet but i wanted to inform you that Cecily Carrillo has just been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. She is currently on a missions trip with YWAM in Australia. The only information I currently know is that she had lymph node surgery on her neck last Wednesday. She is flying home next week and will then go to an oncologist where they will “stage” her progress and will figure out what to do from there. I am only writing to everyone and spreading the word so that we can all start praying right away.
The Carrillo family has been through so much. Last year, Mr. Carrillo had a stroke and is still recovering. The same day Cecily had surgery, her dad had a seizure and has been in the hospital and her brother, Jason’s car was damaged by a palm tree from the storms we had.
I’m asking that everyone keeps this family in constant prayer! Thank you so much!
“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.” Romans 8:26
Peace & Grace,

***UPDATE!
I got to chat with Cecily on FB for a few minutes tonight. She is flying back to Perth tonight so she will have lots of support back at the YWAM base and she will have Liz. She doesn’t know when she will be coming home yet. They want to do more tests there first I guess. She is very thankful for everyones prayers. I will continue to keep you all updated.
